Hale Mahaolu completed its the second phase of its newest senior housing complex in 2020 – Hale Mahaolu Ewalu – bringing a total of 61 affordable rental housing units for seniors located at the Kulamalu Town Center Subdivision in Pukalani, Maui. At Ewalu, affordable rental housing is provided for seniors (62 years of age or older) who meet the appropriate low income guidelines. All of the units meet ADA accessibility standards. Each unit is composed of a combined living room/dining room, kitchen, bedroom(s), and one bathroom. All units are fully accessible, within the guidelines of HUD and UFAS, to meet the needs of the elderly, as well as those who are mobility impaired.
